Job Description
LEGAL | LITIGATION SUPPORT & CASE MANAGEMENT (Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply)
We are working with a litigation practice handling matters across criminal, family, and civil law, and building out its team to support a growing caseload. This posting covers a family of roles spanning Senior Legal Associate, Legal Associate, and Paralegal, sitting across litigation support, client liaison, and case documentation.
We are looking for candidates who want genuine litigation exposure rather than purely administrative work. This is hands-on support work with real scope — you will help prepare pleadings and case materials, liaise directly with clients, and attend court alongside supervising lawyers.
- On the Senior Legal Associate track: take on greater ownership of criminal, family, and civil litigation matters, support more substantive drafting of pleadings, affidavits, and submissions, and work more directly with supervising lawyers on case strategy — this track is open to Singaporean law graduates who are eligible for admission to the Singapore Bar.
- Assist in handling criminal, family, and civil litigation matters under supervision, and support drafting of pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and legal correspondence (where applicable).
- Conduct basic legal research, assist in preparing case summaries, and attend court hearings, mentions, and trials with supervising lawyers (where applicable).
- Liaise with clients to schedule meetings and gather information, assist lawyers in taking instructions and preparing case materials, and maintain professional, responsive client communication.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and organising legal documents and agreements, ensure proper filing and maintenance of case documents, and track deadlines to support compliance with court timelines.
Your current title could be Senior Legal Associate, Legal Associate, Paralegal, Legal Executive, Law Graduate, or something else entirely. More important is what you have actually done, such as:
- Supporting litigation matters or case preparation — through internship, pupillage, coursework, or hands-on practice experience
- Drafting or assisting with pleadings, affidavits, submissions, or client correspondence
- Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries or materials
- Managing client communication, scheduling, and instructions on active matters
- Organising, filing, and tracking case documents and court deadlines
You should be:
- Holding a Diploma (e.g. Legal Studies, Business, or related discipline) or an LL.B. degree from a recognised institution.
- For the Senior Legal Associate track: a Singaporean law graduate who is eligible for admission to the Singapore Bar.
- For the Legal Associate / Paralegal track: open to Malaysian candidates who are not pursuing admission to the Singapore Bar.
- Genuinely interested in Criminal Law, Family Law, and Civil Litigation, with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and responsible, with the discipline to manage documentation and deadlines accurately.
- A fast, willing learner, comfortable operating in a fast-paced legal environment and working both independently and as part of a team.
This is an opportunity to build real litigation experience at a formative stage in your career — rather than being confined to routine admin, you will get structured training, on-the-job mentorship, and exposure to a variety of matters, with a clear track for career progression, including a lawyer-track pathway for eligible LL.B. graduates.
