Job Description
We are looking for a Legal Executive to join our Asset and Wealth Management practice
This role is for a motivated and reliable individual who will play a key supporting role to our retail funds practice.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in review and preparation of standard documents relating to collective investment schemes
- Conduct legal and regulatory research
- Support senior lawyers on transactions and ad-hoc tasks, primarily in a supporting capacity
- Take ownership of document management and other discrete workstreams where appropriate
- Contribute proactively to team initiatives and knowledge development
- Collaborate with support staff on administrative tasks
Requirements
- Degree/diploma in law
- Relevant experience as a Legal Executive
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Resourceful, well-organised, and comfortable handling routine and detail-intensive work
- Able to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environment
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Experience in retail collective investment schemes work is a plus
- Fluency in conversational Mandarin is a plus (e.g. to support work with Mandarin-speaking clients)
