Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and drafting of legal documents, including finance documents, security documents, corporate authorities, legal opinions, and agreements
- Support transactional work, including pre-closing, closing, and post-closing matters, as well as conditions precedent and subsequent
- Assist with client onboarding, including KYC checks and matter file opening
- Liaise with clients, government authorities, and corresponding counsel where required
- Attend meetings and closings (physical and remote)
- Conduct research and provide support to both corporate and litigation teams as required
- Maintain accurate records and tracking of application deadlines, submissions, and approvals
Requirements:
- Degree from a recognised university
- Preferably with relevant experience
- Proficiency in writing and communication of English
- Proficiency in MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerpoint and MSOutlook Software applications
- Good organisational and administration skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in fast-paced environment
- Ability to audio type (receiving dictation) will be a big plus
