Role summary
We are seeking a Legal Executive to join our in-house legal team. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and experience supporting legal and compliance functions, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
You will report directly to the Head of Legal and play a key role in managing contracts, supporting compliance processes (including KYC/AML), and ensuring the smooth operation of the legal team.
This role offers significant exposure to the blockchain and fintech industries, with opportunities to grow and expand responsibilities over time.
Key responsibilities
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage NDAs and other standard agreements using established templates; assist with service agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership documents under supervision
- KYC / Compliance Support: Coordinate KYC and onboarding documentation for counterparties; ensure completeness and accuracy of compliance records
- Legal Operations: Maintain the legal teams databases, document management systems, and internal trackers; assist with filings, signature processes, and billing.
- Corporate Governance: Assist with corporate structuring, entity management, and regulatory filings
- External Liaison: Communicate with external counsel, regulators, and counterparties to coordinate documentation and compliance requirements.
- Research & Administration: Conduct legal and regulatory research; prepare internal memos, reports, and briefing notes.
Requirements:
- Experience: 37 years as a legal executive or paralegal, ideally with exposure to in-house environments. Prior experience in fintech, blockchain, or technology sectors is a plus.
- Education: Diploma or degree in Law or related discipline.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with contract structures, corporate documentation, AML/KYC processes, and data protection requirements.
- Skills: Strong organisational skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, and trustworthy. Takes ownership of tasks and follows through without prompting.
- Bonus: Prior experience supporting M&A, partnerships, or token-related matters is an advantage but not required.
