About the Role

CWT Pte Limited is seeking a practical, business-minded law graduate to join our Group Headquarters Legal team in Singapore as a Legal Executive. This role offers valuable hands-on, in-house experience, working closely with diverse business units across the CWT Group. You will be involved in a broad range of legal matters-including M&A, financing, warehousing, logistics, technology, and maintenance projects-supporting core operations in Singapore as well as cross-border initiatives across Asia and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements (including logistics, warehousing, NDAs, maintenance, and other finance-related contracts) to safeguard the Group's interests.

  • Business Partnering & Risk Management: Work closely with business units and the compliance team to support sound legal documentation and effective risk management practices.

  • Contract Administration: Manage contract lifecycles, track execution status, and maintain well-organised legal records and checklists.

  • Dispute & Risk Support: Assist in managing legal risks, handling pre-contentious matters, and coordinating with external legal counsel when required.

  • Legal Research: Monitor, research, and provide timely updates on relevant legal and regulatory developments in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

  • Process Improvement: Develop, review, and enhance internal legal templates, policies, and best-practice procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Law, or a recognised/legal qualification candidates with several months of paralegal experience will also be considered.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant working experience.

  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken proficiency in additional languages, particularly Chinese, is an advantage as some contract documents may be in Chinese.

  • Demonstrated aptitude for analysis and problem-solving.

  • Self-motivated team player with a positive work attitude and a strong sense of urgency.
