Job Description
- Serve as the senior legal adviser to APAC and ASEAN leadership teams
- Provide strategic counsel on regulatory, compliance and governance matters
- Lead complex commercial contract negotiations across multiple jurisdictions
- Oversee dispute resolution and litigation strategy with internal and external counsel
- Build, mentor and develop a high‑performing regional legal team
- Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Tax, IT, HR and Commercial teams
- Contribute to regional legal strategy in a dynamic regulatory environment
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Director should have:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Qualified lawyer with over 15 years of relevant post‑qualification experience
- Proven experience advising senior executives in large, matrixed organisations
- Strong background in commercial contracts, regulatory matters and disputes
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including mentoring senior lawyers
- Ability to influence stakeholders and balance legal risk with business objectives
- Track record of operating effectively in fast‑changing, complex environments
