Provide primary legal and compliance assessment for AI product features, processes, algorithms, data usage, and functionalities.
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology contracts with business partners.
Collaborate effectively with regional and cross-functional teams (including product management, operations, and tech) to provide end-to-end legal support from business planning through launch and daily operations.
Develop and maintain legal templates, playbooks, and compliance guidelines to empower product teams and ensure adherence to evolving regulations.
Proactively identify and address emerging legal and ethical risks associated with AI technologies.
Other legal and compliance-related duties reasonably assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or LLM degree from an accredited Law School and qualified for legal practice in Singapore.
5+ years of relevant legal experience, with a significant portion gained in-house at a technology company and/or in a reputable law firm, focused on supporting AI, data-intensive products, or other complex technologies.
Demonstrated strong analytical and drafting skills, particularly in the context of technology and product development.
Flexible, solution-oriented, pro-active, and self-motivated with a strong business acumen.
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with diverse team members and cross-functional partners from different cultural and professional backgrounds.
Proven ability to assess complex legal, practical, ethical, and business risks in a fast-paced technology environment and provide clear, actionable, and commercially sound advice under tight deadlines.

Deep experience and specific subject matter expertise in legal issues surrounding artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, algorithms, and related technologies.
