Legal Counsel
Job Description
Salt Talent Search is looking for a Legal Counsel for a 12-month contract role. This role is to support a well-known Tech Client.
What Will You Do:
- Provides legal support for internal clients, including counselling, negotiation and drafting of agreements and other legal documents independently with some guidance and supervision by others only on unique issues with high complexity.
- May oversee projects as requested.
- Uses product and business knowledge to anticipate and identify issues and drive solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
What Do You Need:
- Bachelor of Laws from a recognized university
- Experience in data protection and privacy legislation
- At least 5 years post qualification experience with a law firm and/or in-house position
- Operates with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
- Inquisitive and creative self-starter who enjoys being continually challenged.
- Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and turning around work under deadlines.
- Strategic problem solver with excellent legal and business judgment.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in English.
- Strong project management skills and strong attention to detail.
- Great interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills, which are essential to thrive in a global, multi-cultural environment.
