Job Description

Our client is a leading US-headquartered multinational corporation with a strong and established presence across Asia Pacific. As the business continues to grow in the region, they are seeking a Legal Counsel to join their established APAC legal team based in Singapore.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level lawyer to take on a regional role covering corporate real estate, commercial contracting and general corporate legal matters across APAC. The successful candidate will work closely with senior legal colleagues and business stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support on corporate real estate matters across APAC, including leases, renewals, amendments, licences, fit-out arrangements, facilities-related contracts and property management matters.
  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including service agreements, procurement contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs and other business-critical documentation.
  • Support regional corporate governance and entity management matters, including board and shareholder resolutions, intercompany arrangements and internal approvals.
  • Advise business stakeholders on contractual, regulatory, compliance, governance and risk-related matters.
  • Partner closely with teams across Real Estate, Finance, Tax, Procurement, HR, Compliance and Operations.
  • Manage external counsel across APAC jurisdictions.
  • Assist with legal templates, playbooks, policies and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support strategic legal projects and regional business initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with approximately 4–7 years PQE.
  • Experience in corporate real estate, leasing, commercial contracts and/or general corporate matters.
  • Candidates from both private practice and in-house environments are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior exposure to multinational organisations and regional APAC matters would be advantageous.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced, international and matrixed environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
