Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including aircraft maintenance agreements, vendor/supplier contracts, licensing, and joint venture agreements.
Provide timely and practical legal advice to management and business units on operational, commercial, and corporate matters.
Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and aviation industry standards.
Manage legal risks and advise on dispute resolution, claims handling, and the engagement of external counsel when necessary.
Assist in corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder resolutions, corporate secretarial requirements, and group policies.
Develop and maintain contract templates, internal legal processes, and compliance frameworks.
Conduct training sessions and raise awareness among internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory issues relevant to the business.
Requirements
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and admission to practice law in Singapore or a common law jurisdiction.
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a leading law firm or as in-house counsel in a multinational corporation.
Strong background in commercial/contract law experience in aviation, engineering, or technology sectors is an advantage.
Proven ability to balance legal risk with commercial pragmatism.
Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders across different levels and functions.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
