Job Description
About the Company
Our client is an established organisation in the transportation sector with a significant regional presence. The business operates across multiple markets and has a broad range of legal requirements arising from its commercial operations, procurement activities, strategic projects and transactions. This is an opportunity for a junior lawyer to work closely with business stakeholders and gain exposure to a varied portfolio of matters across the region.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the business on a broad range of commercial and transactional legal matters across the region. Key areas of work will include advising on, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts including but not related to distribution agreements, procurement agreements and service level agreements. The role will involve working with internal stakeholders on contractual and legal issues arising from ongoing business activities, supporting negotiations with external counterparties, and assisting with transactions and projects across different markets. Depending on experience, the lawyer may also support financing-related matters.
Requirements
You should be a qualified lawyer with approximately 3-5 years PQE ideally with experience working as an in-house legal counsel for a manufacturing company or supporting legal work for the procurement team. Candidates with some experience in financing matters will have an advantage.
