Legal Counsel (1-Month Contract)

Commencement: 4 January 2027

ManpowerGroup Singapore is seeking a Legal Counsel on a 1-month contract to provide legal support across commercial contracts, compliance, and general corporate matters during a period of business need.

This opportunity is suited to legally trained professionals who have gained experience in a commercial or in-house environment and can operate independently while working closely with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documentation.
• Provide practical legal advice to business stakeholders and translate legal considerations into clear business recommendations.
• Assess legal and commercial risks associated with business decisions and propose appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Support compliance, corporate governance, data protection, and regulatory matters as required.
• Review existing contractual arrangements and identify areas requiring follow-up or renewal.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of legal agreements and related correspondence.
• Monitor relevant regulatory developments and advise on potential business impact.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Law.
• Prior experience in an in-house legal, corporate legal, commercial legal, or legal and compliance function.
• Experience reviewing and advising on commercial contracts and business agreements.
• Strong understanding of Singapore legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgement.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced business environment.

Preferred

• Experience supporting HR, workforce solutions, staffing, professional services, or other commercial businesses.
• Admission to the Singapore Bar is welcome but not required.
