About Our Client
Our client is one of the global largest shipping and maritime company, renowned for their global footprint and their innovative solutions. As part of their global business growth strategy, they are looking for a Legal Counsel to drive global M&A transactions.
Responsibilities
Reporting into the head of the team, this role offers the opportunity to structure and advise on M&A and investment transactions across the globe. You will be conducting due diligence on target companies to identify potential legal risks and will be responsible in preparing transactional documents, i.e. term sheets, sales and purchase agreements, financing documents and more. You will also support on adhoc legal matters in relation to claims and insurance where necessary.
Requirements
You are a qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience handling cross-border M&A transactions. Candidate with prior in-house experience will be viewed favourably. You have strong commercial sense and a good interpersonal skills, you are confident in interacting with cross-functional business partners, external counsels and leadership teams across the globe.
