We are seeking a talented and experienced Legal Counsel to join our established legal team and contribute to complex, high-profile financing and M&A transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on a broad range of debt financing transactions, including syndicated loans, structured finance, and other credit facilities.
- Advise on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and execution.
- Draft, review, and negotiate financing agreements, transaction documents, and related legal documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support the General Counsel in managing legal risks associated with global financial and corporate transactions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and processes to enhance the legal functions efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in debt financing and M&A, gained from a reputable law firm or in-house legal team.
- Strong understanding of financing and M&A structures, documentation, and market practices.
- Proven ability to manage complex transactions and deliver pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
