About the Role

A Singapore-based company is seeking a junior-to-mid level in-house lawyer to support the company's legal, governance and transaction functions, working under the guidance of Legal Director, and providing related support to other companies within the group.

Key Responsibilities

Contracts & Transactions

Prepare and review contracts
Support the coordination of acquisitions, disposals and financing transactions, working alongside senior legal team members
Assist in preparing intercompany agreements

Governance & Board Support

Support board and shareholder processes
Help maintain the company's governance framework under senior guidance
Assist in maintaining the delegated authority framework, board calendar, and records of significant decisions

Risk & Compliance

Assist with sanctions, anti-bribery, counterparty and transaction risk reviews

External Coordination

Liaise with external legal advisers across relevant jurisdictions, under the direction of senior legal team members

Candidate Requirements

Law degree; qualified lawyer (Singapore-qualified or equivalent common law jurisdiction)
1-3 years PQE in corporate/commercial law
Some exposure to M&A, financing transactions, or having worked on a deal team in a supporting capacity — full ownership not expected
Fluent English (working language)
Eligible to work in Singapore without additional visa/work pass sponsorship
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to support work across multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders
