Legal Counsel (In house)

Job Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage bilingual (Chinese-English) commercial contracts.
• Develop and maintain standardized contract templates.
• Support overseas company incorporation, director/officer changes, regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with external law firms, secretarial, consulting partners.
• Conduct legal research, draft compliance policies (e.g., data transfer, investment).
• Assist with international disputes, evidence preparation, document notarization.
• Translate legal documents, support cross-border meetings.
• Support investment filings, special projects, ad hoc legal tasks.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents in both Chinese and English.
• Solid knowledge of contract law, corporate law, foreign investment law, and commercial regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, a growth mindset, and strong learning ability.
• 1-3 years of experience in legal roles within multinational or Chinese-funded enterprises.
• Degree in Law or related field professional legal qualification preferred.
• Relevant experience in legal roles supporting multinational or international companies.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic regulatory environments.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a global legal environment.
