The Opportunity
- Adecco is partnering with a Growing Technology Co. We are looking for legal counsel with a strong background in handling commercial contracts and intellectual property management to join the team!
- As Legal Counsel, you will report directly to the CEO and work closely with counterparts across Asia (including China) and other regions to provide strategic legal advice, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and support the company in mitigating legal risks.
The Job
- Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements while advising on legal risks and obligations.
- Manage and advise on the protection and use of the company's intellectual property portfolio, including coordination of registrations, enforcement, and IP matters arising from product development and commercial activities.
- Advise on governance, regulatory matters, dispute resolution, and internal legal policies.
- Work closely with business teams, regulators, and external counsel to safeguard the company's legal interests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Law or with relevant certificates.
- More than 6 years of relevant corporate law experience, with a focus on commercial contracts, intellectual property management, and corporate transactions.
- Strong communication, negotiation and drafting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and fluent in Chinese to work closely with counterparts in China.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment!
