Job Description
- Provide end‑to‑end legal support on corporate and commercial matters across defence‑related businesses
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements including procurement, sales and distribution contracts
- Advise business leaders on legal, regulatory and compliance risks arising from operations and programmes
- Partner operational teams to proactively manage risk while supporting commercial objectives
- Coordinate and manage external counsel on specialised or cross‑border matters
- Support senior legal leadership on group‑wide legal initiatives and projects
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Counsel should have:
- Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from a recognised university
- Minimum 4 years post‑qualification experience in corporate or commercial law
- Experience advising on complex commercial agreements and risk issues
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Strong analytical thinking with clear, practical legal judgement
- Confident communicator able to engage stakeholders at different levels
