Legal Counsel, Crypto Mining and Technology Services (Singapore)

Our client is a crypto mining and technology service firm. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Legal Counsel and the position is based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate legal documents and agreements for the group
• Provide strategic legal advice to the group on the business needs
• Liaise with external legal counsel to provide support for the group
• Assist in implementing client onboarding and KYC/AML compliance
• Manage relationships with external vendors such as law firm, corporate secretary firms etc related to legal and compliance issues
• Work with investment team to provide legal support when necessary
• Keep track on the industry trends on regulatory compliance and update the management
• Other ad-hoc on legal and compliance tasks when necessary

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in law or other disciplines
• At least 3 years of legal experience in law firm or inhouse financial institution/ technology firm / digital assets/crypto industries
• Exposure or interests in digital asset industry experience is preferred
• Motivated, independent and collaborative
• Adaptable to work in a small office and fast-paced environment
