Kerry Consulting is partnering with a Singapore-headquartered organization to hire a Legal Counsel to join their legal team. This role will provide legal support across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. Responsibilities:
As the Legal Counsel for the organization, you will:
- Review and draft a wide range of commercial agreements, including service agreements, SaaS contracts, vendor and contractor agreements, and NDAs.
- Lead and provide legal support on M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic investments as and when they arise.
- Advise senior management on legal strategy, risk, and compliance, ensuring that business decisions align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Enhance and maintain internal policy frameworks and corporate governance guidelines to minimize legal and regulatory risks.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, to effectively address and resolve legal and compliance matters.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years PQE in a general corporate practice, either in a law firm or an in-house environment.
- Strong experience in corporate and commercial matters; exposure to M&A and investments will be an advantage.
- Comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment with a high degree of independence.
