Regional Legal Counsel (Corporate Governance / Compliance)

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements (distribution, resale, vendor/supplier, licensing and sales contracts).
• Provide practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on compliance, anti-bribery, data privacy, IP, labour matters and business strategy.
• Identify legal risks in daily operations and propose solutions that balance risk and commercial needs.
• Manage corporate governance matters, including statutory filings and legal documentation.
• Support brand protection initiatives and IP-related matters.
• Coordinate and manage external legal counsel when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws and 5-7 years PQE, with experience in a law firm and/or in-house environment.

• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and provide clear, practical legal advice.
• Familiar with compliance programmes and corporate governance.
• Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
