Our client is a growing company in the commodities industry and a strong focus on sustainability and energy transitions. They are looking for a Legal Counsel to support their regional operations.

about the job.

This is a key, commercially-centric role offering high visibility and the opportunity to make a tangible, strategic impact by managing the full spectrum of legal matters across the business. You will serve as the primary legal partner advising the leadership on a broad range of legal matters, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts and ensuring cross-border regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will also be involved in advising on capital markets activities, financing, M&A and dispute matters as they arise.

skills and experience required.

You possess a degree in Law with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience gained within a reputable law firm and/or inhouse with experience in corporate and commercial transactions. Experience in the commodities industry will be an advantage. You are driven, proactive, independent and pragmatic with excellent analytical capabilities, sound commercial judgement, and strong stakeholder management skills.
