Legal Counsel - General Commercial, 3+PQE
A leading infrastructure investment and development platform with a strong presence across Asia-Pacific is seeking a lawyer to join its in-house legal team in Singapore. The organisation operates across essential infrastructure sectors and continues to expand its international footprint.
The role offers broad exposure to general commercial and corporate matters, supporting business operations and transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Advising on and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts, including corporate procurement contracts, sales procurement contracts, and other miscellaneous commercial agreements
- Supporting general commercial contracting such as NDAs, service agreements, vendor and supplier contracts
- Assisting on corporate and transactional matters, including investments, joint ventures, and restructurings
- Providing day-to-day legal support to internal stakeholders across the business
- Liaising with external counsel where required
- Supporting compliance, governance, and internal legal processes
- Conducting legal research and preparing internal legal summaries and materials
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3PQE.
- Mandarin language skills are essential (to support regional and China-related matters)
- Strong experience handling commercial contracts, including corporate procurement, sales procurement, and a broad range of miscellaneous commercial agreements
- Background in general commercial, corporate, or projects work, gained in private practice or in-house
- Strong drafting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially pragmatic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid work visa in Singapore is required.
