Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements across all business lines, balancing risk mitigation with the company's growth objectives.
- Provide legal guidance throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring that new features and services are designed and launched in alignment with legal requirements.
- Assist the business in navigating complex global regulatory frameworks and maintaining operational compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide legal support to ensure alignment with broader corporate strategy.
- Manage responses to information requests and document production for both internal teams and external regulatory bodies.
- Identify legal and operational vulnerabilities across the organization and develop internal policies to standardize processes and minimize corporate exposure.
Requirements
- Qualified Lawyer with 4–7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally with a background in-house.
- Proven track record in commercial law, with extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
- Solid understanding of the Crypto, Payments, or Financial Services regulatory landscape is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage high-pressure deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex legal risks into actionable business advice.
- Strategic thinker who is solution-oriented and comfortable taking prudent risks within a commercial context.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; fluency in Chinese is highly preferred.
