Legal Counsel Associate, Asset Management Firm (Singapore) (CLOSED)

Our client is an asset management firm that invests in multi-investment strategies such as fixed income, equities etc. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Legal Counsel Associate and the position is based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate legal documents and commercial contracts such as NDA, vendor contracts, service agreements etc
• Provide legal input and advice to the business to facilitate business decisions
• Provide legal advice to help mitigate legal risks for the business and enable business decisions
• Liaise with external legal counsel to provide support for the group
• Manage relationships with external vendors such as law firm, corporate secretary firms etc related to legal and compliance issues
• Draft and manage corporate secretary documents
• Assist in fund management legal activities and documents such as reviewing fund offer documents etc
• Other ad-hoc on legal tasks when necessary

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in law or other disciplines
• At least 2 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in law firm or in-house financial institution
• Exposure to asset management / fund management industry experience is preferred
• Motivated, responsible and meticulous
• Good communication and organizational skills
