Legal Counsel / Associate – Investment & Corporate Advisory

A leading investment-focused organisation is looking to appoint a Legal Associate / Counsel to support regional transactional, investment, and corporate advisory matters across Asia. This is an excellent opportunity for lawyers seeking exposure to high-value investments, cross-border transactions, and strategic commercial work within a fast-paced international environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise on investment, M&A, financing, and corporate transactions across the region
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and transaction documents
• Support legal and regulatory matters relating to investment structures, funds, and financial services activities
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders on strategic business initiatives and expansion projects
• Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and internal compliance/risk teams where required

Requirements

• Singapore-qualified lawyer or common law qualification preferred
• Approximately 3–8 PQE (flexibility for strong candidates)
• Experience gained from private practice, financial institutions, investment platforms, regulators, or in-house legal teams
• Background in investment funds, asset management, banking & finance, M&A, corporate/commercial, or regulatory advisory would be advantageous
• Strong drafting, stakeholder management, and commercial advisory skills
• Regional exposure and ability to work in a dynamic environment preferred
