Legal Co-Founder , AI LegalTech
Job Description
Company Description Amicus (GetAmicus) is an AI legal co-pilot designed for people and organizations that lack big-firm support, including individuals, small businesses, and solo or small-firm lawyers in Singapore. The platform reads and explains legal documents in plain English, organizes evidence, drafts required materials, and recommends clear next steps. All outputs are grounded in verified Singapore case law to avoid inaccurate or hallucinated citations, and user matters remain private with documents excluded from model training. Amicus focuses on delivering substantive legal work in minutes at a fraction of traditional legal costs. The product is live, used by real customers, and built in Singapore.
Role Description This is a full-time Legal Co-Founder role for an AI LegalTech startup, based in Singapore with a hybrid work arrangement that combines on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. The Legal Co-Founder will help shape product vision and legal strategy, working closely with the founding team to define use cases, prioritize features, and ensure the product aligns with Singapore legal practice and user needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and validating AI-generated legal outputs, mapping workflows for individuals and small businesses, and translating legal reasoning into product requirements and user flows. The role also involves engaging with early users, gathering feedback, contributing to sales and partnership conversations, and representing the company in legal and tech ecosystems. The Legal Co-Founder will play a key role in fundraising, risk management, and building a strong, ethical foundation for the company's growth.
