Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented legal assistant to join our team at DayOne. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for administrative tasks and corporate secretarial tasks, along with other customary tasks for legal assistant.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Secretarial Tasks: Manage and maintain corporate records, prepare necessary corporate documents, and ensure compliance with legal standards and in-house policies.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team, such as initiating and following through internal approval process, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and performing other support tasks as needed.

Legal Research: Conduct legal research on various matters as directed by legal team, including case law, regulations, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case files, and legal advice.

Document Management: Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence such as contracts, agreements, and legal memos, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable legal statutes and business requirements.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role in a law firm or multinational corporate setting.
  • Good knowledge of corporate law and legal procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
