[What the role is]
You will be a subject matter expert in innovation projects in various IT domains and will play an active role in the academic, professional & personal development of your learners to prepare them for work & life.
[What you will be working on]
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging ICTrelated modules, including curriculum design, lesson facilitation, and assessment activities
- Guide and mentor students through applied learning, capstone projects, and industryrelevant assignments
- Collaborate with industry partners to identify, initiate, and support realworld projects, internships, or applied learning opportunities
- Continuously review and enhance curriculum content to keep pace with evolving technologies, industry trends, and workforce needs
- Participate in academic, professional, and studentdevelopment activities to support the mission of the School of Information Technology
[What we are looking for]
- At least 3 years experience in an ICTrelated role such as software development, systems engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, IT operations, solution architecture, or technical consultancy
- Academic or professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- Industry certifications (e.g., Cloud, DevOps, Systems, or Platformrelated certifications) are an advantage but not mandatory
- Strong interest in applied learning, innovation, skills development, and continuous professional growth
- Ability to translate industry practices and technical concepts into meaningful learning experiences for students
- Experience working on or supporting IT projects, products, or platforms in a professional environment
- Familiarity with modern software development or IT delivery practices such as Agile, DevOps, or iterative delivery models
- Passion for working with youths and young adults, with an interest in mentoring, coaching, and developing future ICT professionals
- Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Software development, scripting, or automation
- Cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent enterprise platforms)
- DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or platform engineering
- Containerization or virtualization technologies
- Systems administration, networking, or infrastructure management
- InfrastructureasCode or configuration management tools
- Web platforms, application hosting, or distributed systems
