[What the role is]
This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Business Sustainability in the School of Business & Accountancy.
[What you will be working on]
As a Lecturer, You Will
- Develop and deliver curriculum (including online courses) and assessments for full-time and part-time courses for students and adult learners.
- Supervise student projects and internships with industry partners.
- Counsel and mentor students to support their learning and personal development, provide education and career guidance, and coach them for competitions.
- Undertake academic-related administration and committee work, support outreach activities and study trips, and ad-hoc projects that support the school's mission.
- Plan, lead, manage and develop industry projects.
[What we are looking for]
- At least 3 years relevant industry experience. Prior teaching experience will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks or global benchmarks (e.g. GRI, ISSB, SDGs, circular economy principles).
- Familiarity with emerging technologies (e.g., AI, data analytics) that support sustainability goals will be an advantage.
- A nurturing mindset with a passion for working with young adults and mature learners.
- Ability to use innovative teaching and learning strategies and a passion for working with and motivating learners.
- Competent to plan, develop and manage collaborative initiatives with industry partners.
- Ability to lead, manage and support multiple projects independently and in a team setting.
