Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Leasing Support

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support the growth of the Company and business partners. This may include providing real estate advice such as assessing site feasibility, financial viability, and operational needs.
  • Identify and evaluate potential industrial spaces that align with company expansion strategies.
  • Negotiate and review lease agreements and terms, managing rental disputes, attending to general enquiries and feedback from landlords and tenants.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise utilisation of existing spaces

Administration and Payment

  • Assist in lease administration, monitor lease expirations and renewals
  • Preparation of reports and ensure payments of rent and property tax are paid in a timely manner
  • Ensuring compliance and enforcement of lease and tenancy obligations and company policies, where necessary
  • Assist in formulating and reviewing existing leasing policies and processes

Compliance and Research

  • Ability to conduct market research and analysis about local market trends, competitors, and potential growth opportunities in the real estate industry

Other Duties

  • Appointing and working with professional valuers on rental pricing and property tax appeals.
  • Build and maintain strong landlord and tenant relationships
  • Any other related duties that may be assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma in Real Estate, Estate Management, Property Management, Business Administration or equivalent discipline
  • Candidates with at least 3 years of experience in related industries such as commercial leasing, industrial leasing
  • A strong team player, results orientated, resourceful with strong eye for detail
  • Able to work independently and multi-task in a challenging environment
  • Possess strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of building services, facilities management would be advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and any drafting/ design software such as AutoCAD and Sketchup would be advantageous
