About the role

This senior regional role sits at the intersection of talent strategy, leadership development and capability building, with a particular focus on accelerating the readiness of senior leaders and commercial teams across each of our APMEA sub-regions. As a senior member of both the APMEA HR Leadership Team and the Global Talent COE, you will work closely with the APMEA CEO, Regional HR Lead, and Global COE partners to build and deploy a best in class, regionally relevant, globally aligned approach to leadership, talent and capability development bringing our EVP to life through the region. Your mandate includes shaping the leadership and technical capability agenda for a highly dynamic region, with a strong emphasis on enabling growth in APMEA through robust, scalable development offerings for leaders, commercial teams, and future leaders.

Core Purpose of the Role

  • Build leadership and commercial capability across the APMEA region, with strong focus on developing solutions for commercial leaders and teams in APMEA.
  • Strengthen succession pipelines through identifying and accelerating high potential and diverse talent within the region.
  • Embed regional talent and leadership development initiatives, aligned and connected globally for impact & growth. Build and leverage targeted external talent forums and knowledge sharing networks in key hubs e.g. Dubai, Singapore.
  • Shape and deliver the regional roadmap for leadership, technical and functional capability needs in close partnership with the APMEA CEO and Regional HR Lead, leveraging our Kerry Learning Academy structure for greatest regional impact.

Key responsibilities

Regional Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead the design and deployment of regional leadership development programs, tailored to the unique cultural, growth and capability needs
  • of APMEA, and aligned to global frameworks
  • Shape and implement a commercial capability development strategy, with focus on building sales excellence and strengthening technical & sales capability within commercial teams across APMEA.
  • Partner closely with Business Leaders, Sales Leaders, Regional HR and Global COE to assess capability needs and build targeted, pragmatic development interventions
  • Establish and manage regional talent and capability pools, ensuring readiness for critical roles and growth priorities.
  • Build a long-term leadership pipeline by providing clarity on required competencies, tools and establishment of learning and development pathways.

Succession & Talent Management

  • Drive a dynamic and proactive succession management approach across APMEA, ensuring continuity in critical leadership, technical and functional roles.
  • Partner with HRBPs to elevate the quality of Talent & Succession inputs and outputs, enabling objective decisions and strong development outcomes to drive growth
  • Use talent data, analytics and insights to highlight regional priorities, capability risks and opportunities for accelerated development.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives that are aligned to our values, driving talent attraction and development as well as contributing to meeting our Group goals.

Early Career & Future Talent Development

  • Strengthen attraction, development and retention strategies for Early Careers talent, ensuring APMEA builds a sustainable pipeline for future growth.
  • Support design and delivery of structured learning tailored to regional business needs.
  • Enterprise & COE Collaboration
  • Act as the regional conduit for globally led leadership, management and functional capability programmes ensuring local integration, delivery and impact measurement.
  • Collaborate with global COE partners to evolve talent frameworks, assessment methodologies, competency models and leadership development architecture.
  • Lead out a structured collaboration approach with HRBPs focused on exploring and engaging local partners and institutions (e.g. government, semi-state, educational) to foster two-way talent partnerships and resources, strengthening Kerry's brand and talent reach.
  • Contribute to group-wide initiatives in leadership development, coaching, career frameworks and organisation-wide talent projects.
  • Lead bringing the outside in, building relationships and networks with external leadership development thought leaders to continually improve our internal offering.

Stakeholder Leadership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the APMEA CEO and their leadership team, Regional HR Lead and HRBPs.
  • Build strong, influential relationships across business and functional lines, promoting alignment, consistency and adoption of key talent processes.
  • Lead region-specific strategic projects as part of the HR Leadership Team.

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum 8+ years experience in Talent Management, Leadership Development or Organisational Development, ideally within a complex, matrixed and culturally diverse organisation
  • Proven experience building leadership and/or sales capability, preferably across APMEA or other developing markets.
  • Strong background partnering with Senior Leaders, HRBPs and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Degree in Business, HR, Psychology or related discipline; post-graduate or coaching accreditation desirable.
  • Experience with leadership assessment tools, 360 instruments and talent diagnostics.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and delivering scalable learning programs with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capability; comfortable using data to diagnose issues and shape talent solutions.
  • Energised, brings credibility, confidence and strong leadership presence
  • Displays cultural awareness and sensitivity to all audiences and stakeholders
  • Resilient, self-driven, proactive, collaborative and able to influence at senior levels.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link talent strategies to commercial outcomes.
  • Open & receptive to feedback, curious with drive for self- insight and learning
  • Experience leveraging Global Business Services or shared services teams for analytics, process support and technology enablement is an advantage.
  • Experience delivering business partnering to senior stakeholders as a HRBP/ HR Leader highly desirable.
