Learning & Development Manager

• Position : L&D Manager

• Location: Tai Seng (2 minutes walk from Tai Seng MRT)

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,500 + Performance Bonus + Staff Benefits

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Food & Beverage

Main Responsibilities:

• Able to identify project champions who can be our advocate and support the execution of multiple projects concurrently

• Work with Lead Corporate Trainer and Restaurant Managements to evaluate the effectiveness of the established programmes

• Collaborate with relevant department leads or subject matter experts in the creation and update of the curriculum

• Plans, develops, and enhances course content and lesson plans in alignment with desired learning outcomes

• Support course mapping to the national skills framework for accreditation

• Plan and prepare accreditation applications to government agencies and institutes

• Support the deployment of programmes, learning methods such as coaching job-shadowing online training, assessments, and audits

• Take ownership of all processes leading up to and finalizing partnership and accreditation programmes

• Manage grant schemes, milestones, and the achievement of goals

• Evaluation of the effectiveness of learning programmes and providing detailed analysis, solutions, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Learning & Development or training focusing on curriculum development, effective learning, and development methods

• Practical knowledge of mapping to the national skills framework and application to various grant schemes

• Proficient in MS Office (eg. Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

• WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP) or WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE)
