A leading global provider of learning and development solutions is seeking a Learning and Business Development Partner to join their Singapore-based team, supporting growth across the Asia Pacific region.
What You'll Do
- Drive new client acquisition initiatives throughout Singapore and the broader APAC region by identifying prospects and nurturing long-term business relationships.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through discovery meetings, proposal development, negotiation, and successful closure of deals.
- Consistently achieve ambitious annual revenue targets by maintaining a robust pipeline of corporate and multinational prospects.
- Prepare compelling proposals and deliver engaging presentations tailored to address client-specific challenges and objectives.
- Take ownership of key accounts by developing comprehensive account plans that expand opportunities across multiple business units and countries.
- Strengthen existing client relationships through proactive engagement, regular solution recommendations, and ongoing support.
- Lead virtual and in-person discovery sessions to accurately identify organisational capability gaps and translate these into structured learning roadmaps.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and facilitators to design bespoke delivery plans that meet each client's unique requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams in Singapore as well as colleagues across Europe, APAC, and the Americas to ensure seamless project delivery for multinational accounts.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, chamber activities, and HR/L&D conferences to enhance brand visibility as a trusted partner in capability development.
What You Bring
- You have between three to eight years experience in B2B sales within training, HR technology, SaaS or consulting services environments where you have consistently delivered results.
- Your track record demonstrates success in acquiring new enterprise clients as well as managing ongoing relationships with large organisations.
- Your communication style is clear, persuasive, and empatheticenabling you to conduct effective consultative selling conversations at all levels of seniority including HR leaders and business executives.
- You are highly organised with excellent proposal writing skills that allow you to articulate complex solutions in ways that resonate with diverse audiences.
- You are comfortable taking responsibility for revenue targets while remaining dependable under pressure.
- Experience working on regional APAC sales or coordinating cross-country projects is highly valued for this position.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as HRD Corp or SkillsFuture will be advantageous when advising clients on capability development strategies.
- Exposure to selling into multinational corporations or matrix-driven organisations will help you navigate complex stakeholder environments.
