Learning & Development Specialist 1 year contract (renewable) $7,000 x 13 months
Charterhouse are supporting and MNC in their search for and HR Specialist to oversee the Learning & Development for the organization.
This role will be based in the office in the central location:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of the learning and development framework, in line with organiZational priorities and capability needs.
- Coordinate and administer end-to-end learning programmes, including training needs assessment, programme planning, vendor coordination, logistics, communications, and evaluation.
- Manage the learning calendar and ensure timely delivery of mandatory and priority training (e.g. onboarding, manager capability, compliance-related learning).
- Support the implementation and administration of learning processes in Workday, including course setup, enrolment tracking, completion reporting, and data quality.
- Manage relationships with external training providers and vendors, including procurement coordination, service quality monitoring, and cost control.
- Lead bi-annual staff engagement surveys, follow-up action planning, and monitoring of progress across workstreams.
- Organize staff engagement initiatives and activities to strengthen organizational culture, cross-group collaboration, and staff experience.
- Track and analyse learning and engagement metrics, and prepare regular reports and insights for Senior Management and relevant committees.
- Provide support to other aspects of human resources functions as assigned by supervisor.
Attributes
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least 5-10 years of relevant HR experience, with demonstrated experience in learning and development, staff engagement, organizational development, or other related areas.
- Strong knowledge of learning programme design and delivery, including training needs assessment, vendor management, and evaluation of learning effectiveness.
- Experience in designing and implementing staff engagement initiatives (e.g. engagement surveys, action planning, culture initiatives).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programmes and stakeholders concurrently under tight timelines.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret survey results, track metrics, and prepare management-level reporting.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday experience is an advantage), including learning administration, reporting, and data management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong facilitation, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders, including Group Heads and Senior Management, and to provide practical and solutions-oriented advice.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive staff and organizational matters.
- A proactive, service-oriented, and people-centred mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
