Our client is a global leader in manufacturing of plastics injection molding product. This well recognised brand is recruiting a Production Supervisor to join their dynamic team.

about the job

• Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling of all production-related activities
• Ensure operations adhere to operating procedures, quality and safety requirements
• Review the operation of plant equipments and systems constantly
• Monitor, report, develop and implement improvement programs
• Lead a team to maximize productivity
• Collaborate to improve process, performance and management efficiency
• Support and participate in the EHS programs
• Support the Continuous Improvement programs

skills & experience required

• Master / Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in medical devices manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes on VSM, Kaizen
• Able to be hands on with the ground level personnel on the shop floor
• Well versed with lean manufacturing
• Knowledge or experience with plastics injection molding will be a big plus
• Comfortable to work perm night shift 7pm to 7am (3-4-4-3 pattern)
