Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on chiller systems, including cleaning, adjusting, and replacing parts to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Perform Annual maintenance on chiller systems, including chemical tube cleaning, change compressor oil, filters and other scope related to respective works.
- Ensure safety procedures and conduct during service or repairs.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in chiller systems, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration principles and electrical schematics to identify issues and implement solutions.
- Test and balance refrigerant levels in chiller systems, using gauges and other tools to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and to maintain system efficiency.
- Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS) for chiller operations, optimizing performance and energy use while ensuring comfort in the serviced environments.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients or facility managers on the operation and maintenance of chiller systems, including troubleshooting advice and recommendations for system improvements.
- Perform 24/7 standby duty (rostered) for chiller plant equipment complaint and breakdown.
- Document all maintenance, repair, and installation activities, maintaining detailed records of work performed, parts used, and time spent to ensure accurate billing and inventory management.
- Research and implement new chiller technologies or modifications to existing systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, or comply with new environmental regulations, staying ahead of industry trends and innovations.
Requirements
- Min 5 years hands-on experience in HVAC or M&E industry
- Experience with HVAC system & components such as chillers
