Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Integrate multi-source data and organizational needs to strengthen Academic Quality (AQ) framework and establish workflows for systematic monitoring and reporting
Collaborate within SPOE to provide comprehensive analysis and visualization of academic data and trends to leadership
Support the Assistant Director, SPOE in coordinating academic quality assurance and university partnership initiatives to enhance NIEC's academic standards and organisational effectiveness. This includes planning and implementing validation activities (e.g. WSSG audits and External Examiner Reviews), managing articulation and collaboration agreements with universities, and maintaining repositories of course-related documents for articulation and alumni-related requests
Support the Director, SPOE to coordinate the tri-annual review and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework to ensure alignment with organisational objectives
Lead the compilation, analysis, and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for inclusion in periodic Risk Reports presented to management committees and the Board. This includes designing and maintaining dashboards, as well as facilitating regular updates of key indicators
Prepare and update Risk Reports for submission to the Risk Management Committee (RMC), Audit and Risk Committee (ARC), and the NIEC Board through established reporting platforms
Oversee annual review of Document Control Policy and implement enhancements to improve organizational compliance
Serve as the SPOE Document Controller, ensuring the division's official documents are maintained and managed in accordance with organisational policies and guidelines
Provide secretariat support to the Board and its sub-committees, including scheduling meetings, raising AORs, coordinating logistics, preparing meeting materials, recording minutes, tracking members tenure, circulate resolutions, and following up on action items
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree and at least 10 years of working experience, of which at least 3 years in academic governance or education sector
Possess strong organisational skills to manage tasks, prioritise, and maintain details in a fast-paced environment
Able to adapt communication styles to engage and influence diverse internal and external stakeholders
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
