The Opportunity
As a Cybersecurity Solutions Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in helping our clients understand and implement robust security solutions. You will collaborate closely with sales teams, product technical experts, and clients to design and propose tailored Cybersecurity solutions. You will be the bridge between technology and business, ensuring that our clients security needs are met effectively.
This role is based in Singapore with requirements for travel.
At this time, we will be prioritizing candidates who do not require sponsorship to work in Singapore.
What You Are Great At
- Customer Engagement:
- Engage the key strategic and operational stakeholders and tell the OpenText Cybersecurity Story.
- Identify and analyze customer specific challenges, including both technical and business requirements.
- Propose customer-specific solutions to address their business needs through OpenText Cybersecurity products adoption.
- Create comprehensive solution scopes, including business cases, total cost of ownership (TCO), and return on investment (ROI) analysis.
- Solutions Consulting Support:
- Lead the solution process, including product presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Concept to showcase Cybersecurity capabilities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and respond to RFPs/RFIs. Assist in closing deals by providing technical validation.
- Articulate the value proposition of OpenText's Cybersecurity portfolio.
- Address technical inquiries and provide expert guidance to clients.
- Technical Leadership and Expertise:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging threats, and Cybersecurity best practices.
- Understand OpenText's Cybersecurity portfolio thoroughly.
- Translate technical features into business benefits for client.
- Assist in solution scoping, architecture design, and feasibility assessments.
- Knowledge (preferably) of OpenText Cybersecurity technology and solution.
- Client Relationships:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CISOs, IT managers, and security teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations on security strategies.
- Collaborate with clients to align security solutions with their specific needs and goals.
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales role, preferably in the Cybersecurity domain.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are advantageous.
