Lead Software Engineer

'5+ years of experience in BI development, analytics, or reporting roles.

Hands-on experience developing solutions using Power BI and/or Jasper Reports.

Strong SQL skills including query optimization, data modeling, and transformation logic.

Experience with Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query (M), and relational data modeling.

Expertise in JasperReports/JasperServer including templates, datasets, and parameters.

Knowledge of ETL processes, BI data flows, and pipeline management.

Ability to perform statistical analysis and apply quantitative methods for insights.

Strong skills in data visualization, dashboard design, KPI frameworks, and data storytelling.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work with technical and business teams.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (preferred).

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, Jasper reports, and analytical models to support business decision-making.

Build interactive visualizations, KPIs, and storytelling‑focused analytical reports.

Create SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and transformations for BI solutions.

Develop optimized data models (star/snowflake schemas) for reporting performance and scalability.

Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into BI specifications.

Perform data exploration, trend analysis, and statistical evaluations to derive insights.

Define and maintain BI governance—report formats, metadata, version control, access control, and data quality standards.

Administer Power BI Service, datasets, gateways, refresh schedules, and workspace permissions.

Manage Jasper Server repository, scheduling, deployment, and access controls.

Communicate insights through data storytelling and present analytics clearly to stakeholders.

Troubleshoot BI issues and optimize SQL, data models, and report performance.
