Lead Software Engineer

A technology consultancy is hiring a senior engineering leader in Singapore to drive full-stack architecture and hands-on delivery across complex cloud environments.

This is a Lead-level role operating at Principal scope.

Requirements:

• End-to-end solution architecture across modern full-stack systems
• Design of scalable, distributed applications
• Hands-on contribution across frontend, backend and cloud layers
• Engineering standards across CI/CD, testing and deployment
• Technical direction in client-facing environments

Responsibilities

• 12+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
• Strong depth in modern backend and frontend technologies
• Experience designing distributed or cloud-native systems
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred)
• Ability to operate independently and influence decisions

Compensation

Total compensation is typically in the SGD 180,000 to 220,000 range. For candidates who are more senior or bring stronger architecture leadership, it can be higher. This is not a fixed band and will be aligned based on scope and fit.
