As part of the continued growth of their Singapore office, they are now looking to hire a Core

Development Lead to take ownership of a critical engineering group responsible for building and evolving the firm's core trading platform.

The Role

This role sits at the heart of the firm's technology organisation and will focus on leading the development of the core trading systems that power global trading operations.

The position can be shaped around the right individual. Depending on experience, you may:

• Lead a 1020 person engineering team responsible for core trading platform development
• Act as the senior technical authority in Singapore for critical C++ trading systems
• Partner closely with global engineering leadership and trading teams
• Drive architectural evolution of key components such as core trading engines, connectivity, and order management systems
• Mentor and grow high-performing engineering teams
• Contribute hands-on to complex low-latency systems where appropriate

For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to extend influence across hardware-accelerated trading infrastructure, including close collaboration with FPGA engineering teams.

This is a role for someone who can bring technical authority, maturity and leadership, acting as a senior figure within the Singapore engineering organisation.

What They're Looking For

• Extensive experience building high-performance trading systems
• Strong background in modern C++ development
• Experience working on core trading infrastructure such as connectivity, order management systems, or trading engines
• Prior experience leading engineering teams or acting as a senior technical authority
• Deep understanding of low-latency distributed systems
• Ability to operate confidently with traders, engineers and global stakeholders

Candidates must come from financial markets environments such as trading firms, hedge funds, or investment banks.
