Job Description

NES Fircroft is currently recruiting a Lead Process Engineer to support offshore Oil & Gas engineering projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead Process Engineering and design activities, including process development, configuration, optimization, and technical studies.
Perform process simulations and develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Utility Flow Diagrams (UFDs), Heat & Material Balances, and Utility Balances.
Prepare, review, and maintain Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Develop process equipment and instrument datasheets, specifications, and technical documentation.
Conduct relief, flare, and blowdown studies, including relief load assessment and flare network evaluations.
Perform process engineering calculations for equipment sizing, line sizing, hydraulics, and system performance evaluation.
Prepare process design philosophies, operating manuals, and engineering deliverables.
Support and lead Concept Studies, Feasibility Studies, FEED, Detailed Engineering, and project execution activities.
Interface closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in process engineering and design within the energy industry.
Strong experience in Offshore, FPSO, Oil & Gas, LNG, or related energy sector projects. Exposure to energy transition or decarbonization projects will be an advantage.
Proven leadership experience managing process engineering teams across Concept, Feasibility, FEED, Detailed Design, and project execution phases.
In-depth understanding of process design fundamentals, process simulations, heat and material balances, utility systems, and P&IDs.
Experience in process safety studies, relief and flare system design, and related engineering analyses.
Candidates with Lead Process Engineer, Area Lead Engineer, Principal Process Engineer, or equivalent leadership experience are preferred.
Familiarity with international engineering codes, standards, software, and industry tools.
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
