Lead Process Engineer – NDT Level III

At GE Vernova Services Singapore, we repair and support critical gas turbine components that help power the world. We are looking for a Lead Process Engineer- NDT Level III to lead inspection and special process capability across our repair operations.

In this role, you will own and improve NDT processes, support production excellence, and develop technical capability across the team. This is a high-impact position for someone who combines deep NDT expertise with strong process leadership.

What you'll do

• Lead and govern NDT Level III activities across approved methods and procedures

• Develop, qualify, implement, and improve NDT and assigned special processes

• Provide technical leadership for inspection issues across gas turbine component repair

• Support and improve methods including FPI, MPI, ECI, UI, visual inspection, and airflow testing

• Train, coach, and certify Level I and Level II technicians

• Drive safe, compliant, and efficient processes aligned with applicable codes, standards, and specifications

• Lead process assessments, audits, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations

• Identify and implement new inspection technologies and process improvements to strengthen quality, delivery, and cost performance

• Partner with cross-functional teams across engineering, quality, and operations

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university is essential

• At least 6 years of experience in engineering, quality, NDT, or special process roles is essential

• Experience in gas turbine repair, aerospace, MRO, or other highly regulated industrial environments is essential

• Current ASNT NDT Level III certification in at least 1 of the following is essential:

• Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI)

• Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)

• Eddy Current Inspection (ECI)

• Ultrasonic Inspection (UI)

• Experience developing, qualifying, or improving NDT processes in a manufacturing, repair, or industrial environment

• Strong troubleshooting, audit, and technical coaching capability

• Ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders at different levels

It would be great if you also have

• Knowledge of surface treatment processes such as shot peening, chemical stripping, or grit blasting

• Strong understanding of quality systems, process control, and compliance requirements
