Lead Payments Solutions Architect / Business Analyst, Banking

Our client, a prestigious player in Singapore's financial ecosystem, is seeking a high-caliber leader to drive a multi-year transformation of their mission-critical Payment systems. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract where you will bridge the gap between complex financial operations and cutting-edge infrastructure migration.

You Will Get To...
In this role, you will take the helm of a high-stakes project reviewing and re-implementing core Payments architecture as it migrates to the Data Centre. You will own the technology portfolio that supports risk management systems, ensuring absolute stability and resilience for the nation's financial heart.

Beyond simple oversight, you will architect comprehensive solutions for both bespoke and COTS-based platforms - including SimCorp Dimension by leveraging Cloud, DevOps, and Microservices. This position empowers you to drive technical innovation through the development of architectural proofs-of-concept and integration designs across a modern stack featuring OpenShift, Kubernetes, and AWS. Finally, you will navigate the rigorous standards of ICT governance and risk management, optimizing processes that set the benchmark for the financial industry.

You offer a distinguished career spanning 15+ years, with a deep focus on supporting or implementing Payment Systems within complex, end-user tech environments. Your background is anchored by a sophisticated understanding of financial instruments and the S.W.I.F.T. messaging platform, combined with a proven track record in navigating large-scale system revamps or cloud migrations.

Your technical depth includes high proficiency in software architecture - specifically J2EE, .NET, and RESTful APIs -and the ability to design fault-tolerant infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. As a strategic leader, you bring a disciplined approach to vendor management and resourcing, ensuring delivery stays perfectly aligned with business objectives and scope. You are a resilient communicator who thrives in high-pressure situations, possessing the unique ability to translate complex business requirements into technical blueprints and vice versa.
