Lead Network Engineer – Data Centre & Automation

We are seeking a skilled Lead Network Engineer specializing in Data Centre & Automation to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing high-performance network infrastructures in data centre environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network infrastructure for data centre operations.
• Manage and optimize network performance and security in a data centre environment.
• Lead automation initiatives to enhance network management and monitoring processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations and changes.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of experience in network engineering, specifically in data centre environments.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and routing/switching technologies.
• Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python scripting, etc.).
• Proficient in configuring and managing network devices from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
• Familiarity with data centre technologies such as virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and storage area networks (SAN).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
