Description:
Technical Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the technical roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams to drive innovation, productivity, and quality improvements
- Oversee process development and integration of new modules into manufacturing
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians
- Provide guidance on tool safety, process chemistry, and advanced data analysis
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
Process Optimization & Manufacturing Excellence
- Drive initiatives such as Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to ensure scalable and stable product designs
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) during yield excursions and process failures
- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) for optimization
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Operational Efficiency & Cost Management
- Lead Cost of Ownership (CoO) reduction initiatives and waste elimination programs
- Manage production scaling while maintaining high quality standards
- Optimize inventory levels and lead times
Business & Product Ownership
- Own Product Lifecycle Management, including market positioning and profitability (P&L)
- Drive revenue growth and margin improvement, including management of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
- Identify market trends and ensure readiness for industry inflection points
Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Build strong partnerships with suppliers and key customers
- Lead joint development programs with semiconductor manufacturers
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term relationship management
- Oversee field service strategies to maximize installed base revenue
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field)
- Extensive experience in semiconductor equipment, manufacturing, or related high-tech industries
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams
- Strong expertise in SPC, DOE, RCA, and process optimization methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in product lifecycle management and P&L ownership
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
