Lead/ Java FullStack Developer (E-Trading)- Contract

12 months contract role
Must have some trading experience.

Banking / Fintech experience is good to have

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance real-time E-Trading systems using Java and Spring Framework.
• Perform hands-on server-side Java development, including RESTful API design, development, security and testing.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers and UI developers to deliver business requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and test automation practices.
• Participate in code deployment, production releases and other operational activities on a rotational basis.
• Collaborate with the team on troubleshooting, debugging and resolving application issues.
• Contribute to Agile development practices in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
• Support frontend development using React.js where required.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Atleast 6+ years of Java Development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java development, preferably with Java 11/17.
• Experience developing Java server-side applications using Spring / Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, application security and testing.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of Java design patterns and software development best practices.
• Experience with test automation, TDD and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with React.js / frontend development is an advantage.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
