Lead, IT Governance and Risk Assurance

Responsibilities:

Governance Leadership

• Ensure alignment of IT practices with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Risk Assurance

• Identify, assess, and monitor IT risks.
• Lead initiatives to mitigate risks and improve system reliability and security.

Compliance Oversight

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and external regulations (e.g., ISO standards, data protection laws).
• Front audits and manage responses to findings.

Team Management

• Guide and support team members in executing governance and risk assurance activities.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with IT, business units, and external auditors to ensure effective governance and risk practices.
• Communicate key risks and compliance updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance with 5 years of team lead experience
• Proven track record in fronting and managing audits, regulatory compliance, and policy development.
• Familiarity with MAS Technology Risk Management, Cyber Hygiene, Outsourcing, and Business Continuity Management requirements is preferred.
• Professional certifications in IT Governance, Compliance, or Business Continuity (e.g., CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001, ITIL) are a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous, self-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
