Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead to work on a contractual basis. This role involves leading a team of engineers and technicians to maintain and troubleshoot electrical and fire alarm systems within a high-performance biologics manufacturing environment. The position ensures equipment remains operational through daily routine work, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs under cGMP conditions. The work directly supports the production of therapeutic proteins, contributing to critical healthcare advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers and technicians to execute daily routine and repair work orders as assigned.

• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform basic repairs to minimize downtime.

• Supervise vendors and service providers to ensure routine electrical and maintenance work maintains equipment in full operational status.

• Manage general electrical and fire alarm systems for operations, maintenance, and spares.

• Supervise and train engineers and electrical technicians to enhance their knowledge of electrical and fire alarm systems.

• Lead root cause analysis for equipment breakdowns to implement corrective actions.

• Implement and review preventive maintenance programs by analyzing operations, quality control, and maintenance data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Proven ability to lead teams of engineers and technicians in executing maintenance and repair work orders.

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical equipment breakdowns and performing basic repairs.

• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, electrical systems management, and preventive maintenance strategies.

• Experience supervising external vendors and service providers to ensure compliance with maintenance schedules.

• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Familiarity with cGMP conditions and regulatory standards in a biopharmaceutical or similar industry is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills to train and mentor technical staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
